My name is Kim Maxwell and I am honoured that you are here.

I am the first certified KCR Instructor in Canada, with a lifelong passion for wellness and healing, and a deep commitment to sharing this transformative work.

My journey with KCR began in Costa Rica, where I felt an immediate, intuitive yes to the training before I even fully understood what it was. At the time, I was dealing with stubborn chronic neck pain and a frozen piriformis — both were gone after just two sessions. That personal breakthrough sparked a global journey to the USA and Scotland to complete my Instructor Certification, so I could bring this powerful work home to Canada.

I bring over 15 years of experience in the wellness industry as the owner of Soma Pacifica (formerly Intuitive Heart Wellness), working with clients as a Certified Intuitive Coach and creating programs to help people reconnect with their inner wisdom. As a certified Yoga Instructor and Meditation Teacher, I have spent years guiding people back to themselves through movement and stillness.

I also spent 20 years as a creative entrepreneur, teaching jewelry-making workshops while designing and crafting handmade silver jewelry for galleries and festivals across Canada. My certification in Connective Tissue Release (CTR) and training as a Reiki Practitioner round out a background rooted in both the art of healing and the art of teaching.

One of my greatest joys is watching students walk away from the two-day KCR workshop feeling confident, capable, and ready to change lives — starting with their own.

I currently split my time between the warm oceans of Costa Rica and the majestic mountains of Western Canada with my husband Chris, our son Toki, and our dog Pepper.
