Kinetic Chain Release (KCR)
KCR is a powerful, scientifically proven 23-step protocol of gentle mobilizations and stretches, developed by Scottish physiotherapist Hugh Gilbert. This holistic, full-body treatment quickly and effectively releases fascia, reduces pain, shortens recovery time, and restores alignment throughout the entire body — most clients experience significant relief after a single session, with optimal and long-lasting results achieved over 2–3 treatments.
Non-invasive, deeply relaxing, and suitable for people of all ages, KCR works by addressing the body as a connected system rather than treating isolated areas. The result is a profound and lasting sense of balance, ease, and wellbeing.
KCR is ranked the #1 treatment in the USA and Canada by FOTO. Learn more about the data →
Connective Tissue Release (CTR)
For some clients, KCR alone brings complete resolution. For others, a deeper layer of support is needed.
CTR, often called myofascial release, works directly with the fascia — the intricate web of connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, and organ in your body. Through gentle, precise techniques, CTR unwinds long-held restrictions, restoring fluid movement, reducing lingering pain, and promoting a greater sense of ease and vitality throughout the body.
As a certified CTR practitioner, I offer this as a complement to KCR for clients who require a deeper level of release.

What to Expect During a KCR Treatment:
A KCR session guides you through a scientifically proven, total-body aligning technique that effectively releases fascia and brings the entire body back into balance. Sessions are performed fully clothed — please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
Unlike treatments that focus on one isolated area, KCR works systematically through the entire body, restoring full-body balance and alignment. The session involves a sequence of soft tissue releases and gentle mobilizations applied in a specific order, supporting your body's natural ability to rebalance itself.
You'll move through a few different positions on the massage table — lying face up, face down, and on your side — with guidance throughout. Most clients find the experience deeply relaxing and restorative.
At the end of your session, you'll be shown a few simple stretches to do at home to help maintain and enhance the benefits of your treatment.
Each session typically lasts between 45–60 minutes.

Pricing:
Single session: $110 · Three-session package: $300 (valid 3 months)A course of 3 sessions is recommended for optimal, long-lasting results.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is KCR covered by extended health benefits? KCR treatments are not currently covered by extended health benefits in Canada. Coverage is based on professional designation rather than treatment effectiveness — and KCR's effectiveness is well documented. Independently evaluated by FOTO (Focus On Therapeutic Outcomes), an industry-leading outcomes management system used by healthcare providers across North America, KCR was measured against a database of over 36 million patient cases in the USA and Canada and received a 99% outcomes ranking. To put that in perspective — the average for neck complaints across FOTO's database of healthcare providers, including chiropractors, RMTs, and physiotherapists, requires 10.8 treatment visits to return to pre-injury state. KCR required just 1.6. Many clients find the results significant enough to invest directly.
How many sessions will I need? Most people find significant relief after just one session — often resolving the majority of issues. A second session tends to complete the resolution, and a third helps cement the results long-term. After that it's maintenance — most people return every 6 to 12 months. Some conditions, such as repetitive strain or fibromyalgia, may benefit from more regular sessions. Let your body be the guide.
What should I wear? Loose, comfortable clothing — cotton shorts, yoga pants, or similar. No denim. You will remain fully clothed throughout the treatment.
How long is a session? A standard KCR session is 60 minutes. For those interested in combining KCR with energy healing work, sessions are 90 minutes. Learn more about Energy Work →
Is KCR suitable for everyone? KCR is gentle, non-invasive, and suitable for people of all ages and physical conditions.
How is KCR different from massage therapy? KCR is not massage. It is a precise 23-step protocol that systematically releases fascia and restores alignment throughout the entire body — from head to toe — in a single session.
